Differences

Also there are more general differences between the film and Homer’s story. The gods were also fighting like the mortals. Almost everyone took sides. Similarities
The film had many similarities with the real story. First of all, it shows how big and strong the Trojan walls were. Then it tells us that Agamemnon’s army was huge. Another right point of the film is that Achilles and Agamemnon fought over a woman. It is also true that Achilles killed Hector and treated his dead body badly, because Hector murdered his cousin, Patroclus.
